In Las Vegas for business and I managed to squeeze in a round at one of the most unique courses I’ve every played: Peccole Ranch.

I had three discs with me, but because it was late and would soon be dark, I decided to play quickly with only one disc, my Warship.
There were lots of folks on the main part of the course (the last few holes are separated by a short walk, and I get the impression they are not played as frequently.). I was playing very well and was moving very fast.
There was a young couple playing, having a good time (on a date?), and they were clearly not experienced… and I kept coming up on them. Finally, they let me play through, but after I threw the young lady asked me several questions about the sport and throwing discs. I answered her questions and demonstrated by throwing my two additional discs. She took it all in and thanked me. That was nice. It was nice to have an opportunity to be an ambassador for the sport. I wish them well and I hope they find years of joy together and with the sport.
The light faded quickly which really hurt the homestretch for me… my depth perception really struggles at night. But ultimately it was a fun round and a real privilege to make it back out to this beautiful, unique course.
